Nigeria High Commissioner to the

Republic of Mozambique with concurrent accreditation to the Republics of Mauritius and Madagascar

 

Amb. Yamah Mohammed Musa, is a trained professional Lawyer with 36 years post-call experience; founder/principal partner of Law firm of MOHAMMED YAMAH & COMPANY, established Nov. 1986 till date, with branches in Kano and Abuja. He was appointed as High Commissioner in February 2021 by His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The High Commissioner was the Chairman/CEO of Talhat Nigeria Limited, Lavista Construction Company Limited, Holgate Properties Limited; Founder/Director of Prime Peace Project (a non-government organization focusing on conflict management/ mediation); Pioneer National Co-ordination – Conflict Resolution Stake – Holders Network of Nigeria (CRESNET).

He also served as Attorney/ Adviser to the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; former Director-General, Edo State Government Liaison Office Abuja; Hon. Commissioner/ member, Edo State Judicial Service Commission from May 2015 – May 2020; Member of Abuja Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ABUCIMA); Chairman, forum of South Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (FOSSCCIMA) Abuja Chapter.

His Excellency Ambassador Yamah Mohammed Musa is a native of Edo State of Nigeria. He earned a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) (HONS) from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and (B.L) from the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos.
